Sheep farming

Lots of sheep are bred in the wadden region. Sheep graze in the dunes, on pastures and on the sea dikes. The province of Friesland has a tremendous number of sheep. In some places in Germany and Denmark, sheep intensely graze upon the outer dike grasslands, such as the salt marshes and old land reclamations.
