Jig fisheries

Jig fishing is fishing with lines carrying artificial bait. The fishing lure is moved up and down by hand or mechanically so that the fish sees the bait as moving prey. Sport fishermen catch many species of predator fish with their jigs. Mechanically-run jigs are also used for catching squid and cuttlefish. In order to apply this method, the sea must be at least 20 meters deep.

  • Longlasting

When you fish with a jig, you catch exactly what you want to catch without damaging the sea floor or using lots of fuel. In other words, it is an extremely selective and environmentally friendly form of fishing. In addition, the quality of the fish remains optimal.
