Prospecting methods

There are two phases involved in finding oil and gas. The first phase involves obtaining insight into the various layers of the bottom through seismic studies, whereby the presence of gas or oil layers can be determined. The second phase, trial drillings, is performed to prove whether the amount of gas or oil is worth exploiting.
