The greatness in the diversity in the landscapes in the Province of Groningen is reflected in the very different appearances properties of the organization. For its members (referred to as 'protectors'), there are around twenty terrains for them to enjoy, most of which are open to the public.
Excursions are often given in the closed areas and are announced in the quarterly magazine 'Golder Raand'. They are also on the website. At the Waddencentrum in Pieterburen, you can also get more information about the organization.
There are lovely bird watching huts in the Westerbroekstermadepolder and in Nieuwe Staten Zijl. The latter is the only outer dike bird watching hut in the Netherlands.
