Nature is essential for everyone! The independent nature conservation organization Landschap Noord-Holland protects large areas of nature and landscape via purchase, development and management. Whether asked or not, we also give advice and perform studies in areas of ecology and landscape. We accomplish these tasks with more than 100 staff and 4400 volunteers, supported by 43,000 Protectors and 50 company Friends. We also receive financial support from the Province, the Ministry for Nature and the National Postcode Lottery. Momentarily, Landschape Noord-Holland protects 79 of its own nature areas and manages and gives advice for a large number of governmental and private terrains in the entire province.
