Viper

Vipers are predator snakes that live in damp heather fields, moorlands and along the edges of forests. Therefore, they could survive well on the Dutch Wadden Islands, for example in damp dune valleys. However, they are not found on any of the islands, which is logical: although they are often capable of swimming short distances, long distances are a problem.
