Arachnids (spiders)

Arachnids are arthropods with four pairs of legs and an external skeleton. The body consists of two segments: the anterior part (cephalothorax) and the posterior part (abdomen). By some groups, the posterior and anterior parts have joined together, making it difficult to see where the one ends and the other begins.Examples of this group are spiders, ticks and harvestmen.
