Daisy family

Together with the orchid family, the daisy family is the largest plant family. It contains close to 23,000 species! It is characterized by its inflorescence, which is a cluster of flowers arranged on a stem. Just think of the dandelion. Other well-known members of this family are sunflowers, endive and camomile.
