Blackberry
You find blackberries just about everywhere. In Scotland, they call them brambles. Blackberries grow where there are lots of nutrients in the ground and preferably sunny areas. However, they also grow in nutrient-poor soils and along the edges of or even deeper in a forest. Besides people, lots of animals eat the berries or drink the nectar: birds, fox, bees. The berries are very healthy, containing lots of vitamin C and fibers as well as various minerals. Furthermore, blackberries can be used to dye fabrics and wool.
