Nature quality of the delta region

The nature quality of the Dutch delta region has been greatly influenced by the Delta Works. A decline in the natural dynamics since the 1970s has resulted in an immense change in the nature quality, particularly in a negative sense. New steps are being taken to restore the dynamics in the delta region, which will not only improve nature but will also make the area more flexible when it comes to safety.
