Ameland
Just like all of the Wadden Islands, Ameland has its own unique nature and history. Tourism is the largest source of income, however there are also other sources such as agriculture. There is no longer any large-scale fisheries. Ameland has several museums and a visitors center Natuurcentrum Ameland.
