The bottom of the Wadden Sea is teeming with life! Via various activities, the pupils discover what it is that makes the wadden region so unusual. So unusual that it has been proclaimed a World Heritage site. All sorts of subjects are covered: migratory birds, ebb and flood, benthic life. Mudflats are no place for wimps; be careful not to get stuck in the mud!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two locations<\/h2>\n

For Discover the mudflats you can choose from two locations: the wad near De Cocksdorp and the Mokbaai at the ferry port. In both locations we will go onto the wad with buckets and push nets. Remarkable: in just a few hours time, everything will be under water!<\/p>\n

Book an outdoor program<\/h2>\n

To arrange an outdoor program, call the booking office or use the contact form. Together we choose which program(s) are best for your group. In order to make a reservation we need to know the following information:\u00a0name, address, telephone number and email address for the school, cell phone number on Texel, number of pupils and guidance, lodging address and way of transportation for the group on Texel. The booking office is available per telephone during office hours via 0031 222-367440\u00a0and\u00a0boekingskantoor@ecomare.nl<\/a>. A program takes 1,5 – 2 hours and costs \u20ac 190,- for a maximum group of 30 pupils.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
