Insectivores are usually small mammals with short legs. They have pointed teeth for cracking the plates of insects. As the name indicates, insectivores only eat meat. They track their prey with their agile, trunk-shaped snout. Unfortunately, they are sometimes killed by the insecticides they consume by eating poisoned insects.
